Race Recap!
Chicagoland Speedway!
Iowa Speedway was the halfway point of the Outkast Cup Series Playoffs.
It started off big with an announcement that Backwood and Jayroc in the #9 and #19 would not make the race. This news was big to the drivers that raced as they had two less drivers to worry about.
Stage one and two would go to the #88 Chevrolet Jolly. He would be a major contender for points all night long taking them from the team who wants them the most. AoFenris in the #41. Late in the race the #88 team made a mistake entering pit road costing them the lead.
AoFenris has been in the top 5 for points all season long with only 1 win. Entering the playoffs he would go out and win more that anyone expected. The #41 team was able to hold on to the lead in Iowa and grab yet another victory.
This would be Fenris's 4th victory this season and practically planting them in that top spoy for points.
Congrats to AoFenris and the #41 team on the win in Iowa and good luck in Talladega!
Bristol Motorspeedway!
Bristol Motorspeedway was home for the Outkast Xfinity Series.
Itzdarkspartan in the #1 Chevrolet took the charge early and dominated the race winning both stages.
In stage three, we saw quite a few wrecks giving AoFenris in the #98 the easy advantage under caution to hold the lead and stay ahead under green just long enough to capture the win in Bristol.
Congrats to AoFenris and the #98 team on the win in Bristol and good luck in Gateway!
Next Weekend Events!
Playoffs Round Five: Talldega Superspeedway
Talladega Superspeedway will hold round fove of the Outkast Cup Series Playoffs. AoFenris looks in with optimism with the large points gap with only 2 races left.
Tune in Friday, Oct. 30th at 9:15pm est!
Gateway!
Outkast Xfinity Series takes to Gateway Raceway for just 4 races left in the season. A quick change to the schedule means only 4 races remain.
Good luck drivers!
